UPGRADING OUR CABIN
Ancker, Remy, and I spent Veteran's Day weekend in the woods. Ancker upgraded his shooting skills from BB guns to revolvers and rifles. We all helped upgrade the cabin frame and add some siding, and Remy started clearing a new horse trail up the mountain.
BUILDING A TENT PLATFORM
A quick trip up to the mountain to get the first of several tent/cabin platforms started. It was much chillier this time around which was great for getting work done. We also got to cook some Spam and play in the river.
FINDING THE PERFECT SPOT FOR A CABIN
Ancker, Remy, Noodle, and I head to the mountain for a quick 24 hours. The goal was to find the perfect spot for a small cabin.

Ancker went to Scout camp. As my wife remarked, the Scouts "showed up talking about Fortnite, and left talking about forts." I'll consider that a win. Any time spent in the woods is time well spent.

Ancker, Remy, and I discover an abandoned cabin in the woods! We'll probably repurpose the wood for a new cabin.
Skill upgrade: loading ammo
With ammunition prices still sky high it was time to upgrade our skills, so Remy over at Merciless Mountain taught us how to load our own ammunition.
